V.Cleaning & Vino - What a COMBO!!

WELCOME BACK!! I know its been a while since you've seen any updates. We've been a little busy cleaning house. Often times when one hears the term 'spring cleaning', there are thoughts of dust flying, sneezing, allergies, and the re-discovering of items that were long forgotten during the winter. Well V.Allure underwent a 'spring cleaning' of sorts, as we pondered over the current status quo and what we could do to "spruce things up" a bit. We departed with some concepts and incorporated some fresh approaches. Of all the think tank sessions that occurred, we're most proud of the outcome of our website!

In addition to the website we've added another service - Vino With V.Allure. This service provides in home (or office) wine tasting for you and your wine loving friends or colleagues. We pair wine with cheeses & chocolates, while bringing the essence of the wine country to your home or business.

Celebrating SPRING at THE GROVE!

Spring is FINALLLLY here! V. Allure, along with a few friends and colleagues, relished in Spring's arrival at The Grove - located at Discovery Green in Downtown Houston. Refreshing libations and capivating conversation was enjoyed by all that attended. We even had some Grove patrons that couldn't resist the urge of joining us! The Spring kickoff is just the beginning of many events that V. Allure will be hosting in the near future. Hopefully you will join us!

Baby Banks Baby Shower

Its baby shower season!!! V.Allure was elated to host a personalized baby shower for Baby Banks. Keeping in mind the modern yet classic taste of mommy-to-be, the decor and overall ambiance was simply sophisticated. Since the sex of the baby is not known to the public, traditional color schemes were not an option. Instead, we opted to go with a copper and rust scheme. Typical shower games were replaced with a craft project which pleasantly surprised most guests. All in all, mommy-to-be and her guests enjoyed the innovation that V. Allure brought to the shower.

Wanna Secret Rendezvous?

Exciting....Nostalgic....Surprising......Romantic......

These are some of the expressions that were used by a few lucky ladies when they were enlightened by the Secret Rendezvous experience. Secret Rendezvous is unparallel to any typical "romantic" date because of the extra attention to detail that is taken into consideration. V.Allure gathers tidbits of information that personalizes each experience ultimately making every Secret Rendezvous encounter a memorable one. Networking - Seriously...What does that REALLY mean?

So.....its seems that "NETWORKING" is the new especially overused term of 2009. Although I have come to realize the actual act of networking is essential to your professional and personal success, I have a tendency to lump this word in the same category as "upscale". Remember that one? Anytime an event promoter wanted to stress that their event was set apart from the others, the term "upscale" was thrown in their marketing material somewhere. When you arrive to the event, you immediately take notice that "upscale" only referred to a small roped off VIP section, "signature" apple martinis in baby martini glasses and a "lavish" buffet (which can also be placed in that same category). Well....I don't want V.Allure to be lumped into that dreadful category, so I've brainstormed about some other terms we can use to get our point across when it comes to networking. Perhaps intelligent interfacing, connecting conversations? How about successful socializing? As you see, I definitely like alliteration!
